A brief story of our founder and Stevisweet's creation
Stevisweet’s founder, embodies a story of vision, perseverance, and a commitment to improving lives. Born in Colombia, he pursued his education at the esteemed Universidad del Valle, one of the top universities in the country. Following his academic journey, he demonstrated unwavering dedication by serving in the military during a pivotal time for Colombia, showing his courage and love for his homeland.
After his service, our founder embarked on a path driven by creativity and entrepreneurial spirit. His ventures included various start-ups, including a honey business inspired by his passion for beekeeping. While these endeavors provided valuable lessons, Our founder's determination to create something impactful continued to guide his journey.
Motivated by the dream of achieving the “American Dream” and building a legacy for his family, Jairo took a bold step to move to the United States. His vision encompassed not only better opportunities for his family but also a desire to contribute positively to both his native Colombia and his new home, the United States. After working tirelessly, he successfully earned U.S. citizenship for himself and later for his children, a milestone that marked the beginning of his aspirations coming to fruition.
In 2020, Jairo faced a personal challenge: a diagnosis of Type 2 Diabetes that significantly altered his lifestyle. Determined to overcome these obstacles, he sought solutions to regain a sense of normalcy and joy in his daily life. His search led him back to his roots in Cali, where he started to search for a way to replace sugar in a healthy way and eventually developed an innovative formula that allowed him to enjoy the sweetness he loved without compromising his health.
What began as a personal solution quickly evolved into a groundbreaking concept that became the foundation for Stevisweet. Drawing on his visionary mindset and driven by the overwhelming interest from others intrigued by his discovery, Jairo launched Stevisweet in 2023. Starting with production in Colombia and achieving FDA approval shortly thereafter, Stevisweet officially introduced its products in the U.S. market in early 2025, beginning with Miami, Florida.
With the support of his partner, Jairo Andres Ramirez Segovia, Stevisweet embraced the digital era by unveiling the updated website “stevisweetusa.com,” enabling nationwide sales. Their strategic approach to website design and social media soon attracted global interest, sparking dreams of worldwide expansion. With the help of his partner and the Stevi-Team, our founder has his sight on future worldwide commerce, giving the world a better way of enjoying sweetness in life.
Today, Stevisweet remains focused on serving its two cherished countries, Colombia and the United States, while setting its sights on steady both national and international growth.
